Last Friday, the Human Element team accepted a Fast Track award presented at the annual Deals of the Year awards dinner. This is the second year in a row that Human Element has been honored with this distinction. Ann Arbor Spark, celebrating its 10th Anniversary, presented the award to companies that had at least $100,000 gross revenue in 2011, with an annual average growth of 20 percent for the following three years, and increasing year-over-year revenue.
“The FastTrack awards are proof positive that this region has the right assets in place to fuel successful businesses,” said Paul Krutko, president and CEO, Ann Arbor SPARK. “These growing companies are creating jobs, attracting investment, and improving our region’s economy, and the impact is undeniable: Job growth in Washtenaw has consistently outpaced the nation’s and the state’s. In the last five years, jobs here have grown by seven percent, compared to four percent in Michigan and three percent in the country.”
