Tech Trek 2017 at Human Element. The beer garden is open for business.

The technology industry, among all the professional paths to choose from, is one that continues to offer consistent professional opportunities. Because, how could it not? So as the graduates of liberal arts programs weep, the individuals with enough savvy to go into a tech program are attending events like the 2017 Tech Trek in Ann Arbor: rubbing elbows with prospective employers at organizations leading the way in their respective technology fields – and planning a successful, professional future.

For the upcoming Tech Trek 3-7 pm June 16, Human Element will join more than 70 local businesses as a participating Tech Trek company, opening the doors to our Batcave (literally) to tech-hungry attendees for an afternoon in the “beer garden” featuring live music, craft brews, and games.

Step right off the Tech Trek Shuttle, which will stop right in front of our building, and into our corner of professional frivolity. We’ll be throwing a beer garden hang-out in our main lot with yard games corn-hole, ladder ball and giant Jenga. Grab a craft brew and some snacks from the kitchen before making the rounds through our intimate and friendly workspaces. And, of course, ask one of our many guides any and all questions that pop into mind about what Human Element is, does and why we’re one of the coolest and most successful tech companies on the 2017 Tech Trek route, and the fastest growing Magento partner in Michigan.

Participants of the annual event will have the exclusive opportunity to see all that makes Human Element the unique, supportive and inspiring organization that it is with guided tours of our sunny spot on the north end of Ann Arbor’s fabulous downtown. We’ve even wrangled Girl Develop It into the party – offering them a spot in-house for the day and sponsoring a GDI giveaway of a seat at the fall Intro to PHP/MySQL workshop. The course is designed to better prepare interested women on the Tech Trek for a career in the technology field and has been crafted by the excellent minds of the GDI community.

Finish up the afternoon with some live jams 5-7 pm! We look forward to welcoming all participants of the 2017 Tech Trek and sharing our home with the tech community! Looking for more information on the 2017 Tech Trek? Look here! Ready to register? Click here.
